About us
Cartonpack was born in 1970 from the passion and vision of our father, Nicola Leone, the company’s founder, with a small workshop dedicated to fruit and vegetable packaging. It was the beginning of a dream: transforming materials and ideas into solutions capable of protecting products and enhancing those who produce them.
 
From that family workshop, guided by our father’s enthusiasm and determination, we have grown over time, carrying forward the family values and respect for the people who are part of it.
 
Today, we are an international group, with over 120,000 square meters of production facilities, more than 700 employees, and a presence in over 50 countries, yet what continues to drive us is the same spirit: innovating with passion, responsibility, and care for the environment.
 
Every package we create tells our story of family, expertise, and sustainability. It is not just a container: it is an ally that protects products, enhances the brand, and helps build a more sustainable future, staying true to the legacy of the dream that started it all.

From then to now

1970
Carton Pack is born: a family-owned company with a small 2,000 m² facility, dedicated to fruit and vegetable packaging in Southern Italy.

1990-2000s
Expansion begins: Carton Pack establishes itself across Italy and Europe, also entering the food packaging sector. In 2000, it moves to a 40,000 m² facility.

2001 - 2010
Innovation and sustainability: the start of thermoformed PET packaging production (including 100% R-PET) and major investments in rigid materials. In 2009, Carton Pack installs its first photovoltaic system.

2010 - 2017
Growth and new markets: expansion of the facility (45,000 m² covered), broadening of the product range, and entry into international markets with increasingly innovative solutions.

A new strategic drive: the 21 Invest fund acquires a majority stake, aiming to strengthen the presence in Italy and abroad.

2020 - 2023
Key acquisitions: Carton Pack expands in Europe with operations in Germany and Spain, while strengthening production in Italy. In 2023, installed photovoltaic capacity reaches 4 MWp.

2024 - 2025
Towards the future: the Group further expands with the acquisition of Clifton Packaging (UK), Fimat S.p.A. (Italy), and Andolfi S.r.l. (Italy), consolidating its leadership in food packaging across Europe.
